This practical one-day course explores the key activities required to successfully deploy safe and reliable AI systems in Government and Public Services. Participants will build on foundational AI, data, governance and assurance concepts and apply them across the AI development lifecycle to support the successful deployment of AI. The course also examines common reasons why AI projects fail and the activities required to support successful adoption.
A key feature of the course is a hands-on focused workshop using an FeAI ambient scribe tool integrated with the FeAI Governance and Assurance Monitoring Dashboard. Working in teams, participants will explore an ambient scribe use case, identify stakeholders and risks, develop guidance for use, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and present their findings, providing practical experience of applying governance and assurance concepts to AI deployment in Government and Public Services.
